Working with Nightingale in London and across the UK

NIGHTINGALE NURSING

For a number of years Nightingale Nursing has held an enviable position in the London market, with a reputation for providing private clients with exceptional service and the very best in nursing and care staff.

Now established as a specialist division of Allied Healthcare, Nightingale concentrates on the delivery of care in the prestigious home care and private nursing market.

Nightingale's comprehensive client list is firmly established in the UK offering a huge choice of assignments, from last minute single shifts to longer-term block bookings and "live-in" contracts.

We are always looking for carers and Registered Nurses (with NMC registration) and so if you are interested in working in this sector, please email:

If you are in the United Kingdom please phone 0800 35 80 999 to discuss your options and to book an interview with our friendly recruitment consultants.

OVERSEAS NURSING PROGRAMME (ONP)

Due to changes implemented in 2005, the Nursing & Midwifery Council (NMC) registration process for Registered Nurses is more complicated than before. All non-EU nurses must complete an English Language assessment (IELTS) and then the ONP (minimum of 20 days protected learning in England) through an NMC approved provider before their registration can be finalised.

Nightingale Nursing in the UK has now sourced a service provider (Bournemouth University) that offers the course at a very competitive price (£300 per student). Content for the 20 days of protected study is prescribed by the NMC and reflects the 4 competency domains i.e. professional and ethical practice, care delivery, care management and personal and professional development, delivered through a combination of direct and distant learning.

While you complete the course, Nightingale can assist you with casual work as a Health Care Assistant (HCA) if required.

Further details of the programme can be found here.
